An electric blue phytoplankton bloom hangs in the waters off the coast of Argentina, southeast of the Valdés Peninsula. A faint trail of phytoplankton can also be observed northeast of the bloom, beyond the large patch of clouds. Also of note by the coast are sediments near Bahía Blanca (partially visible between the cloud-cover and the shoreline) and in the Río de la Plata estuary (top right).
