Argentina – October 29th, 2012
Shades of electric blue and green created swirled, yet somewhat jagged, patterns off the coast of Argentina (click here for previous images of the bloom). The bloom is stretching across approximately 300 kilometers (175 miles) of the South Atlantic Ocean. Here, San Jorge Gulf can be seen as a crescent-shaped indentation along the Argentine coast to the southwest of the bloom.
