Argentina – December 13th, 2012
Over two months after its first appearance, a phytoplankton bloom is still visible off the coast of Argentina (click here for previous images). The teal green bloom is situated between the Valdés Peninsula (above) and the San Jorge Gulf (below). Some darker blue strands can be seen east of the main bloom, particularly upon opening the full image.
